I often strugg...You make an interesting point here. I often struggle to read books about Holy elders... And am often met with frustration, thinking my heart is hard or closed or that something is missing in me because no connection is being made. <br />A common pre-Orthodox thought is that there's something wrong with 'me' if I don't feel stimulated by holy writings, or writings on holiness.
